Chemical Valley

In 1994 Canadian singer-songwriter Kyp Harness released Welcome to the Revolution, a stark album of raw folk-based music, which included intensely narrative-driven songs like Chemical Valley. This music video was Liz Marshall’s first project out of film school. Shot in and around Toronto on super 8 and 16mm film, and with a Green Screen, the song and video foreshadow the warnings of environmental degradation.
