Musicians in the Warzone

Following music artists the Rascalz, David Usher, Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida of Our Lady Peace to war-affected countries Iraq, Sierra Leone and the Thai-Burmese border, Musicians in the WarZone bears witness to the impact of war on children. Its premiere on MuchMusic attracted half-a-million viewers, breaking the stations record for social issue programming. Musicians in the WarZone was produced by War Child Canada (Dr. Samantha Nutt & Eric Hoskins) and by Canada’s music station MuchMusic (Denise Donlon & Tania Natscheff). Liz Marshall directed Musicians in the WarZone between 1999 – 2001 while working as the Media Director for War Child Canada.
